About Me
Having qualifications working with animals, I have spent the past 25 years in various locations globally, including working with wild animals in Africa, as a wildlife ranger in Zimbabwe, where I grew up as a child, gaining a love and understanding for wildlife in their natural environment. I had to under go vigorous training and learn about many different species of wild animal’s in and around their natural environment, having taken more in depth studies with many of the larger animals too. I was involved in game captures, relocating many different types of dangerous wild animals in Africa and having to undertake problem wild animal control in the local farming areas.

I have had a love, understanding and passion for dogs from a very young age, having experience in dog training as I was brought up with a family that bred and showed German Sheppard’s and Rhodesian Ridgebacks and also having owned my own horses too from a young age and been involved in training horses in ridden work and carriage work. I have always had a love and understanding for animals using natural leadership methods in training.
I was fortunate and proud to be able to have worked for HM the Queen more recently in the Royal Mews, I was involved in training the young horses for ceremonial duties in both carriage and ridden work and driving carriages for ceremonial duties too like Opening of Parliment, Trooping The Colour, Royal Ascot, the Queens Golden Jubilee in 2002, and much more.

Exercise is an essential part of keeping your dogs healthy and mentally and physically stimulated.
Dogs that exercise live up to 30% longer. Sadly most dogs are over weight and under stimulated. Not to mention the total lack of mental stimulation! They’re over fed with dog food, treats and people scraps, but the main problem is lack of exercise. Excess energy is going to get expended. Under exercised dogs are apt to outlet their energies through a variety of ways, most of which are undesirable. It might come out as a frustration with excessive licking, self-mutilation and destructive chewing or as hyperactivity with him jumping up on you, bouncing off the walls or any number of other behavioral problems.
Signs of an under exercised dog:
• Chasing his tail. • Running back and forth from one room to another for no apparent reason. • Restlessness.

"a happy dog is a well exercised dog"
Dogs need exercise every day although the amount of exercise necessary varies from dog to dog and is often dependent on the breed type, age and health. Providing enough exercise will improve your dog's health and prevent household destruction and other behaviour problems common in under exercised dogs.
We are here to be able to keep your loved pets happy and exercised while you are away at work, on holiday, in hospital or unable to exercise your dog daily. Not only do we just take them for a walk, we keep them happy by keeping their minds stimulated too.

PLEASE CALL COUNTRYSIDE PET SERVICES FOR ALL YOUR PET CARE NEEDS

A Dog's Prayer
Treat me kindly, my beloved master, for no heart in all the world is more grateful for kindness than the loving heart of me.
Do not break my spirit with a stick, for though I should lick your hand between the blows, your patience and understanding will more quickly teach me the things you would have me do.
Speak to me often, for your voice is the world's sweetest music, as you must know by the fierce wagging of my tail when your footstep falls upon my waiting ear.
When it is cold and wet, please take me inside... for I am now a domesticated animal, no longer used to bitter elements... and I ask no greater glory than the privilege of sitting at your feet beside the hearth... though had you no home, I would rather follow you through ice and snow than rest upon the softest pillow in the warmest home in all the land... for you are my god... and I am your devoted worshiper.
Keep my pan filled with fresh water, for although I should not reproach you were it dry, I cannot tell you when I suffer thirst.
Feed me clean food, that I may stay well, to romp and play and do your bidding, to walk by your side, and stand ready, willing and able to protect you with my life, should your life be in danger.
And, beloved master, should the Great Master see fit to deprive me of my health or sight, do not turn me away from you. Rather hold me gently in your arms as skilled hands grant me the merciful boon of eternal rest...and I will leave you knowing with the last breath I drew, my fate was ever safest in your hands.
